About Hvilan Education
With roots dating back to 1868 and a forward-looking perspective, Hvilan Education strikes a good balance between tradition and innovation. Hvilan Education is Sweden's leading educator in the green sector, gardening, and is owned by the Agricultural Societies of Kalmar, Kronoberg, Blekinge, Sjuhärad, and Skåne.
About the Position
We are looking for an engaged teacher who is passionate about the green industry! The position involves both practical and theoretical teaching, where you can combine theoretical knowledge with solid practical experience. In Stockholm, we train arborists within the Vocational College and run courses on behalf of the Employment Agency in Maintenance and Care and Garden Design.
As a teacher with us, you will work with course responsibility, planning, and teaching based on current curricula. You will familiarize yourself with and translate curricula into concrete teaching moments, course plans, and assessment criteria.
We are looking for someone with a degree in green education or equivalent – for example, Arborist, Biologist, Horticulturist, Landscape Engineer, Landscape Architect, Gardener, or similar, and who has relevant knowledge and experience in the field. You must find it enjoyable and stimulating to help students develop and thrive, and you must be accustomed to leading towards clear goals. A driver's license (B) is required, and teaching qualifications are an advantage but not a requirement.
We offer you a varied job in a pleasant and creative environment where you work alongside engaged colleagues. With us, you have great opportunities to make a real difference in our students' futures.
